Mounting Method

For visible wall or ceiling mounting, simple and quick installation is available with the Quick Mounting Set: position – hang in – secure. Mounting slots on all sides of the housing allow you flexible mounting options; perfectly adaptable to the local conditions.

Vertical adjustment of the housing. If the existing equipment does not allow direct wall mounting, you can order wall spacers. With the Kontrast you have the possibility to inspect the entire projection screen including technology without disassembly.

If the Kontrast-G is to be installed flush with the ceiling, we recommend our professional installation system for suspended ceilings with a pre-assembly frame. In order to fill the gap between raw ceiling and suspended ceiling, an optional installation set for suspended ceilings is available.

Projection Screen Surface

The Polar PU screen surface (up to W 300 cm) is a textile tested for harmful substances made of polyester fabric with a PU coating. It is flame-retardant and meets the requirements according to DIN 4102 – B1.
Due to the matt white PU coating on the front side an optimal, lifelike colour representation is achieved.
The black, opaque backside ensures that the screen surface is 99.98% lightproof. This ensures that no backlight can pass through.

Accessories

As an option, the screen surface can also be ordered as a rolling screen. This is the ideal solution for installations where pictures hang on walls or windowsills are blocked. If the existing equipment does not allow direct wall mounting, we recommend wall spacers with 20,30 or 40 cm. Special spacers are possible, please contact us!

In our standard version, the motor drive is located on the right-hand side, seen from the front. If your situation so requires, we can also mount the drive for you on the left-hand side.
For the Kontrast, you can select a 1-channel radio control with handheld transmitter or a key switch to prevent unauthorized operation.

The extended version Kontrast-G is ideal for ceiling installation due to its straight housing terminations. We have developed a professional installation system for suspended ceilings. A pre-assembly frame is mounted in the suspended ceiling. Thus the housing disappears in the ceiling and is hardly visible. The pre-assembly frame has an access flap on the right and left side for mounting, so that the projection screen can always be installed and removed without any further ceiling work.

An optional installation kit for suspended ceilings is available to fill the gap between raw ceiling and suspended ceiling.

Technical Details

With Kontrast, a revision of the entire technology, including the projection screen, can be carried out in the shortest possible time, without dismantling the housing. If the projection screen is no longer needed, it can be simply rolled up by motorised drive. The housing with its patented, automatic lid closure offers protection against external influences and can be integrated optically into any room.

The contrast is equipped with a high-quality, noise-optimized quality electric plug-in drive (230V/50Hz) with thermal protection switch.

Construction according to DIN 56950-4:2015 Safety requirements and tests on assembled projection screens.
